On he 9th February year 4 went on a school trip with Miss Delgado. We went to Cardiff Museum where there was a man called Liam and he was our teacher for the day. He talked to us about the human body and how it works. He made us sit down and showed us a human skeleton that he had brought with him. The name of the skeleton was Mr. Jones. He told us about different things in our body and what makes up the skeleton.
Liam also bought a bug to show us. Liam put us into different groups and there were a lot of skeletons around us. There were skeletons of different animals and we had to match the name of the skeleton to each animal by using a slip of paper with different names written on it. Liam also gave us slips of paper, which described the things the animal can do.
Liam gave us a booklet with animal activities written on it and I wrote about the otter. I wrote that the Otter’s body is made in a way that it helps it crawl. After this we did a puzzle about making the human body and we had to label each part . This was quite hard but I was able to have a good go at this.At the end we had to look at a lions skull and I held it but it was very fragile and I had to be very careful. Then we said by to Liam and we went back to school on the buses.
